With specialist Language College status, the school is forward-looking, caring and has an exceptionally flexible curriculum offering a wide range of educational opportunities suited to all students. The recent OFSTED report recognised that Grove has many strengths and that consistent progress is being made . Exam results have shown consistent improvement in recent years: in 2011 the record for Year 11 students achieving 5 or more Grades A*-C at GCSE was again broken with 69% achieving this level. 52% achieved five or more higher passes including English and Maths - another record. All students achieved at least one GCSE qualification.

I am pleased to report that the outcome of the inspection has confirmed that the school has improved significantly since the previous Ofsted inspection in March 2009. Jane Radbourne.
