Year 8 London Trip

Year 8 groups have been studying rules for living in their Religious Studies lessons.  They have been looking at rules for living in countries (specific laws and how they are made) and also for rules for living within religious beliefs.  As part of the study a large group of students took a trip to London to learn more about the laws of our land and religion.

The students took an educational tour of Westminster Abbey and spoke to the Canon.  They were fascinated by the Abbey especially the tombs of previous kings and queens. The students were also taken on a tour of the House of Commons and House of Lords.

The day was long, but the students had a fantastic time and wished they could have stayed for the weekend!
