Careers convention
Our work relating learning team were very busy again last term organising the annual Grove Careers Convention. The event has become a real success over the years helping our students to look at a variety of options after compulsory schooling has ended. This years event was again very well attended by our local firms and further education colleges and universities. Year 10 and Year 11 students were given opportunities throughout the day to visit the convention and speak to representatives about future plans.

Staff on the Muller Dairy stand were kept busy with their stand and workshops which ran throughout the day.
Following on from a successful venture last year Muller Dairy provided workshops focusing on job roles within different departments such as Finance, Marketing and IT. The workshops were well received by students and offer a real insight into the scope of careers open from one employer.
Feedback from exhibitors and students alike was excellent and we would like to thank all of the exhibitors for giving their time to support the event.
