A hugely successful night was once again enjoyed as the Grove Collection was previewed on Friday 11th March. The event organsied by our Friends of Grove School was a complete sell out with 200 people turning out to Market Drayton's premier Fashion Show! Gowns and dresses from Grogeous Gowns and The Dress Agency were very kindly lent for the show.
Grove's older students strutted and sashayed down the catwalk, looking fantastic in the beautiful dresses, whilst our younger years showed their creative flair having made their own costumes in the show's Junk to Funk display. Students had taken old clothes and revamped them during after school classes to make them into new outfits. The Junk to Funk was themed this year with an emphasis on 'films' so all costumes were made to reflect this.
It is a wonderful night which would not happen without the hard work of our wonderful Friends of Grove School committee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank them and the staff of Grove School who have given their time to support the event. Our thanks also to Gorgeous Gowns, The Dress Agency, Peter Posh, Francesco Hair Group for help with styling hair and make-up, Stepz School of Dance for entertainment and to all the local businesses who supported the event by holding trade stands during the evening, lastly thanks to everyone who came to and supported the event.
