Recent assemblies have been focused on student achievements. Last week the Top Twenty students from each year group were awarded prizes for accumulating house points over the course of a year. House Points can be collected for receiving a good news note in relation to work and effort during lessons, having an attendance record of over 90% and being nominated in subjects for student of the term. The 'Top Twenty' students with the most house points were awarded prizes as follows:
Year 8: PE bag and drinks bottle
Year 9: Filled pencil case and wallet
Year 10: Scientific Calculator
Year 11: USB memory stick
South House with their prizes.
The celebration continues this week as the nominations and winners in the 'Student of the Term' awards are announced. Congratulations to all students who are nominated and the overall winners.
