GCSE Presentation Evening

Year 11 students who left Grove in Summer were invited back to attend a special Presentation Evening held earlier this month.  Their GCSE certificates were presented along with special awards for sports, subjects and overall performance during their time spent at Grove.  It was a fantastic night and wonderful to see so many of our former students again.

A special award was presented for the first time this year in memory of Malcolm Collier a much loved and respected teacher and colleague, who lost his brave battle with illness in Summer.  The Malcolm Collier Design Award was presented to Lydia Eyklestam.  The Simon Stoneley Award was presented for the second year.  This year the award was presented to Sarah Beckett.

Headteacher, Jane Radbourne said, "The Presentation Evening was a really good evening celebrating the success of our students from last year.  It is one of those events when it is both a pleasure and a privilege to be the headteacher and see so many excellent performances recognised.  A massive well done to all the staff, students and their parents."
