Ground force

Our Year 11 Construction group have taken on the challenge of converting an area currently planted with shrubs in the school grounds to an outdoor seating area.  Under the careful guidance of Ray Pooler from our site team, who has been responsible for much of the landscaping on the grounds, the team of 16 Year 11 boys have designed and planned a new decking and seating area.  The new area will be situated in close proximity to the existing canopy currently used as an outdoor eating area.

The students will project manager the entire transformation under guidance of Headteacher, Jane Radbourne,  Site Manager, Chris Parton and Ray Pooler.  They have not only planned the new design, but will also be responsible for health and safety, ensuring policies are adhered to and management of the budget.
