Progress Review Day and Careers Convention
Thursday 23rd February was our fifth annual Progress Review Day.
Normal lessons were suspended for the day but all students were required to attend a compulsory meeting with their tutor for a full review of progress this year. Discussions covered internal assessments and tests, progress towards targets and a general review of strengths, weaknesses and successes. There was be an emphasis on helping students to plan what they need to do to continue to improve and develop.
Although the meetings were primarily for students, we were pleased to welcome a very high proportion of parents who came tto be involved and to support their sons and daughters.
Running alongside the Progress Review Day was a very successful Careers Convention featuring over 60 representatives from local employers and Further and Higher Education.
