Grove student receives an early X-mas Factor present

To coincide with the X-Factor in the run up to Christmas, Grove Catering were offering scratch cards to all students purchasing food during break and lunchtime to a specific value.  The scratch cards had instant prizes of food and drinks and all were entered into a draw to win two tickets to the X-Factor Live Tour.  The draw for the tickets was held on the last day of term Friday 17th December and the winning ticket was pulled out by Head Teacher Ms Radbourne.  We are delighted to announce the winning ticket belonged to Katie Smith from Year 8. 

 

Katie said she was "very shocked" to be the winner, but also very excited.  She will be taking best friend Hazel Dutton along to the event in Birmingham during February.  Katie said "It's perfect for us as both of our birthdays are around the date of the concert so we will be celebrating in style!"
