Africa Month
This year the month of March has been given over to a cross-curricular study of the continent of Africa. We chose this time to coincide with Comic Relief when, as a nation, we focus on the poorest continent on our planet.

Through various activities, some fun, some serious, we hope to raise our students' awareness of different ways of life and the role we all play in each other's future.
Pictured are Year 8 students in an African dance lesson.
The activities culminated in our annual Arts Festival which this year has a specifically African theme.
Later in the year we are bringing a football team from Vukani School in Cape Town to participate in a multi-national tournament. We have made regular visits to Vukani for several years and have helped the school through a series of find-raising activities. More Details >>>
