Blue Planet 2009

All year 7 have spent the last half term working on their cross-curricular project known as 'Blue Planet'. Students are presented with a “Dragon’s Den Scenario” when they are challenged to pitch their ideas for a new aquarium in the Market Drayton area. The groups have worked hard on researching how an aquarium works both financially and in terms of conservation and education.

Their research included a trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium near Ellesmere port.

There were two winning groups some of whom are are seen here with their medals and cups.
