Attendance Breakfasts
Following discussions with the Educational Welfare Officer around raising the profile of attendance, Heads of House agreed a competition system to run half termly. Rewards were discussed at school council and the idea of a breakfast prize was suggested. This was implemented from September to see if it would have an impact on attendance during morning registration.
The idea is that, every half term, the tutor group from each House with the best attendance record would have their breakfast provided in the Bistro during a registration session. This consisted of croissants, fruit, yogurt, hot & cold drinks.
The winning tutor groups are announced in House Assemblies. Pictures of the winning groups are taken and published on our display boards. We also put an article in the newsletter where we asked students to give feedback on the idea. It has become very popular.
We are hoping to provide a trophy for the tutor group with the best attendance across the four houses at the end of the year.

West House - Mr Charnley South House - Miss Rooney

North House - Mr Whittaker East House - Mr Littleford
