Interhouse Sports Competitions at the Grove School
Tuesday 11th July 2006
Last week, Years 9 and 10 at the Grove School took part in the termly inter house sports competition.
This term Years 9 and 10 competed against other houses. They played softball, the results are as follows:
West won the boys competition for Year 9 and 10 softball
South won Year 10 rounders.
Year 9 rounders was won by west house.
Years 7 and 8 are currently preparing for their competitions. They are competing against each other in cricket (Yr 8) and tennis (Yr 7).

On Friday the 15th of July the Grove pupils will be competing again in sports day events. Year 7s take part in a mini Olympics with such events like long jump and shot-put, Years 8 and 9 do track and field events.
There is a finale of two relays while results are calculated and participants are told how they’ve done at the end of the day.
We all hope for a sunny, dry and fun day .
