Storyteller
Polly Peters entralled her young audience with her witty stories and poetry when she visited Grove at the beginning of February.

She gave a very animated and lively performance to small groups of year 7 students.
Polly is a former English & drama teacher and with her husband has produced over 40 books. "Poems with Attitude" and "Poems with Attitude Uncensored" were both Educational Guardian books of the week. Her latest book is "Falcon's Fury."

Author and storyteller Polly Peters commented on her visits to Grove to celebrate National Storytelling week: "I was warmly welcomed into the school by staff and students alike and I was very impressed by the behaviour and responses of all the year 7 students. They engaged very positively with my performances, asked thoughtful questions and were a great credit to the school. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time!"
A range of Polly's books are now available to view in the library and our thanks go to Mr D Munn our librarian who organised the event.
