FunMaths & Taster Day

 

We held a FunMaths Road Show and taster day for year 6 students at the end of September.   During the day approximately 200 year 6 primary school children attended and completed a half day Maths Roadshow and had a ‘taster’ of further lessons in other subjects (Languages, Drama, CDT & Music) for the other half.  During the Roadshow they worked with 30 year 7 students with the aid of some Grove College students.  The sports hall had been set up with tables in a circular lay-out and children in small groups completed puzzles and quizzes during the half day.  Children moved around the room tackling the puzzles and once completed moved onto the next table and so on until all have been completed.

Adderley School, Cheswardine, Longlands, Moreton Saye, Norton in Hales, Stoke on Tern, Woore Primary School, Market Drayton Junior & Hinstock school.
