Move-Up Day

 

On Monday 10th July we welcome to Grove all the current Year 6 students who will be joining us in September.  A full day of activities is planned to help them to get to know the school.

The morning will start with an assembly, then during the course of the day the new classes will get together for some introductory lessons - a chance to meet new friends from other schools and experience some Secondary school lessons.

Everyone will be shown round the school.  It seems very big to start with but you will soon learn your way around.  A lot more is planned, so there is plenty to look forward to!

The full range of the legendary Grove Catering menus will be available at lunchtime.  To help you plan what you might eat, and how much it will cost, here are the choices:

 

Counter One

Roast chicken, chipolata sausage and stuffing,

Vegetable pasta bake,

New potatoes,

Roast potatoes,

Carrots, broccoli and peas,

Gravy.

Salads:

Green salad, tomato and cucumber, coleslaw, tuna pasta, rice salad, beetroot, freshly baked bread rolls. A selection of filled rolls, sandwiches and wraps.

All meat is sourced locally from Shepleys and Buttercross Farm, fruit and vegetables, bread and yoghurts and milkshake are also from the local area.
