Annual Presentation of Awards & GCSE Certificates

 

  

 

 

A large audience was welcomed at Grove to celebrate last summer's year 11 students’ achievements at the annual Presentation of GCSE Certificates and Awards Evening. 

Students collected certificates for GCSE, GNVQ and a wide range of vocational qualifications. Awards were made to students who had excelled in individual subject areas, either by getting top grades or demonstrating exceptional commitment and progress throughout the course. Sporting achievements were also recognised.

                

Certificates and awards were presented by  Mr R Higginson who retired as head of Physical Education last summer after 35 years at the school. 

                               Mrs Harrison, who organised the evening said:  "It was lovely to see the hall full of people celebrating the students' achievements."
