New Sports Course for Grove College

Grove College has started a vocational Sports course aimed at providing students with a more practically based alternative to A levels, post 16.

The students recently visited Lilleshall National Sports Centre to learn about its facilities.  During their tour they met Olympic Archer Alison Williams, in training for this summers Olympic Games in Beijing.

Mr Granger, course leader at Grove is very enthusiastic about the course:

“The course has been very kindly sponsored by local company BCH Developments, which has allowed us to travel to lots of different sports facilities such as the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff and, of course, Lilleshall.  I am delighted with the success of this new course"
