Grove Parent Teacher Association
Grove Parent Teacher Association is a registered charity that exists to support the education of Grove students and to foster links between parents and staff. All parents of Grove students and all members of staff are automatically members of the PTA.
Originally formed over 30 years ago, the Association is managed by an elected committee of parents and staff who run a wide range of social and fundraising events throught the year. These include the annual Bonfire and Fireworks - a longstanding Grove tradition, occasional Quiz Nights and recently a very successful Race Night. The funds raised help to buy additional resources and to support activities such as team travel.

Undoubtedly the PTA's greatest achievement was the purchase of The Birks Field Centre for the use of Grove and the community in 1985. Over £40,000 was raised through donations and covenants, sufficient to buy the Lake District property from the Forestry Commission and undertake major improvements. The Birks continues to be used extensively by both school parties and outside bookings throughout the year and is a huge asset to the school.
The current Chair of the PTA Committee is Kate Salter, who can either be contacted through the school or directly on 01630 653669.
New committee members and helpers are always welcome. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to be involved.
