Aims and Values

Our Principal Aim is stated as:

Grove exists to encourage a love of learning in all students and the wider community. High expectations of teaching and learning and a climate of continuous improvement are central to this.

Embedded in this principal aim is our commitment to foster:

• Equality - comprehensive education with all individuals valued
• Quality - teachers and students understanding and working for quality teaching and Learning.
• Standards - students, parents and teachers having high expectations and recognising the commitment needed for them to be attained.
• Attitudes - appropriate behaviour, courtesy, honesty, responsibility, respect for each other and the environment, a recognition of the need to work co-operatively both in school and the wider community.
• Rewards -   All achievements are valued, acknowledged and appreciated .
