The Art Department
Grove's Art Department is based in a purpose-built suite
of rooms including facilities for the whole range of artistic
activities. Art is a Key Stage 3 subject for all students
at Grove and during Years 7, 8 and 9 everyone has the opportunity
to develop skills in painting and drawing in a variety
of styles as well as a foundation course in pottery.
Art is a strong and popular option at GCSE and is also
available to College students at AS and A2 level.
The department is led by Mr Mel Fowell. The two other teachers
are Mrs Helen Upton (full-time) and Mrs Sarah Clarke
(part-time)
