The Geography Department

The Geography Department is led by Miss G Stubley.  The other teachers in the department are Mr L Gibson, and Mrs K Jones, who also teaches English.

Grove School - Geography Department All students study Geography throughout Key Stage 3, covering a wide range of topics from physical and social geography.  Studies include field visits, typically to both urban and rural areas.

The subject is popular as a GCSE option in Years 10 and 11 where the OCR Bristol Project syllabus is followed:  results in recent years have been good with a pass rate of over 80% in both 2005 and 2006.

The Edexcel AS and A2 course is offered for Grove College students, who study human and physical geography modules.  In 2005 there was a 100% success rate at A2.
