The Religious Studies Department
The Religious Studies Department is led by Miss B Feeley.
Also teaching in the department are Mrs J Campbell (Deputy
Head of Grove School) and part-time teachers Mrs S Banks
and Mrs G Smith.
All students study RS throughout the school, learning
about the traditions, festivals and beliefs of different
faiths. Visits to places of worship are often included
in the programmes of study.
In Years 10 and 11 students can choose to follow the RS
Short Course leading to exam worth half a GCSE grade, or
full GCSE. The latter involves some additional study outside
normal lessons. RS is also available as an Advanced option
at AS and A2 level.
