The Third Session
To enable us to offer an exceptionally broad range of
courses for students we have a "Third Session" -
lessons held after the normal school day.
This allows committed students in Key Stage 4 to extend
their studies with an additional GCSE course - possibly
Music, Art, Drama, Law or a second or even third foreign
language. Grove College Advanced courses in Sociology,
Psychology and Media Studies are also held during the Third
Session, increasing flexibility of choice for students.
These courses are provided by lecturers from New College
Telford in a partnership arrangement.
The Third session is completely voluntary but each year
it is widely used by students looking to complete their
educational package.
